A grocer’s Easter burst, read in May
A north-east grocer asked us to sit with Easter paid social, radio, and door-drop against loyalty-card conversions. Last-click gave the burst to paid social and branded search. The files showed door-drop households converting later through organic and email. We did not tell them to stop social; we told them the burst had a tail, and that the tail was being handed to whoever stood at the till in the report. The May readout used printed maps on the canteen table because the meeting room was booked. They still keep the large-format print in the buyer’s corridor.
